If you are like many doxie fans, the color of English Cream is both unique and new to you. We are asked about this color a lot so we felt that we should create a page to give further insight to English creams. The most prominent thing we tend to notice about them is their coloring, especially the lemon cream-extra light dogs. There is also a classification called Shaded Cream. In this variation, a black shading is apparent on the ears and tail. One trait that is pretty common in our cream colored dachshunds is their extremely loving tendencies, they are typically more quiet than many doxies, and above all have exceptional build/confirmation. This is of great value to breeders due to the fact that improved body mechanics means improved health.
