Dear Bob and Lori,
It’s been 3 months since I picked up Hanna in Iowa. I cannot tell you how much we LOVE having her as an addition to our family. Hanna is so warm and loving it’s beyond words. Her demeanor is confident and extremely playful. She integrated with our other dogs perfectly and she and Maggie could play all day if Maggie didn’t get tired. Hanna is a big dog in a tiny body. Having read about Dachshunds we were concerned she’d be a barker and that’s simply not the case. At the moment she only gets worked up when she sees her reflection in the glass thinking it’s another Dachshund or when she passes the mirrored closet door surprised there is someone out there who looks and plays EXACTLY as she does. I have to pry her away from the mirror because she’s so mesmerized by her new found play friend. We will definitely buy another mini-Dachshund and when that time comes we will be calling Boylan Farms. Please feel free to use us as a reference any time. Thank you so much again for spending the time to educate us and for ensuring Hanna found the perfect home.

UPDATE - MAY 2011
Hanna turned 3 years old last Sunday. She continues to bring PURE joy to our lives. If I could get away with it I would adopt a whole house full of fur kids from you. There is not one day that goes by that we don't scoop Hanna up and just love her to death. She's accustomed to being cradled while watching TV and now burrows underneath the covers at night. She loves laying in the desert sunshine in the afternoon but since it's getting warmer now she's there for only about 3 minutes. Maggie, our boxer/lab mix, is still Hanna's best friend and they travel everywhere together.
I hope your family is doing well and when we're ready for another Doxie we'll drop you a line.
